• Sit: begining with the rest.

I have begun a new series. Well, it's a triptych. I've recently finished a great little book titled: Sit, Walk, Stand, by Watchman Nee and I loved it. I will do a piece based on each part of the book. This pic is the progress of "Sit". The book is a short comprehensive (oxymoron?) study of the book of Ephesians in the Bible (too many prepositional phrases) I'm rereading the book as a draw. The Sit section has had the largest impact on me. Christianity begins with a big "DONE". "We began our Christian life by depending not upon our own doing but upon what he had done. Until a man does this he is no Christian." (p.15) Anything we do as a Christian always begins with a resting in God. "Sitting" is an attitude of rest. Our given position in Christ is with Christ seated at the right hand of God. Ephesians 1:17-21 and 2:6-9 There's a mystery and a wonder to such a precious perspective.
